Audience
- Operators who keep contact records accurate
- Teams whose CRM holds incomplete or out-of-date addresses
- Workspaces in Australia or the United States
Prerequisites
- Contacts enabled in your workspace
What is it?
You can now add or fix a contact’s address inside Voqo. Your workspace country decides the form: an Australian workspace shows Suburb, State and Postcode; a US workspace shows City, State and ZIP code. Once you edit an address, your CRM will not overwrite it. That is the main reason this feature exists. How does it work?
The address fields
The Address section sits in the General tab of a contact and in the Add contact dialog. It holds Street, Unit (optional), Suburb or City, State, Postcode or ZIP code, and Country. The country is your workspace country and cannot be changed here. State is a dropdown.Rules by country
- Australia: the state is one of NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, WA, TAS, NT or ACT. The postcode is four digits.
- United States: the state is a two-letter USPS code. The ZIP code is five digits, or five plus four (for example
11201-1234).
What happens with your CRM
- Your edit stays in Voqo. Voqo does not send the address back to your CRM.
- Your CRM will not overwrite it. After you edit or clear an address, the next CRM sync leaves it alone. This holds even when the CRM record has no address at all.
How to use it
- Open Contacts and select a contact.
- In the General tab, find the Address section.
- Fill in the fields. Pick the state from the dropdown.
- Select Save.
Benefits
- Fix a wrong or missing address in seconds, without waiting for a CRM change.
- Your correction survives every future sync.
- Your AI agent uses the address straight away, for example when a caller asks about properties near a contact’s suburb or neighborhood.
